What it is
A fire audit instead of a scheduled inspection
A fire audit is an independent assessment of whether buildings and structures comply with fire safety requirements. In Uzbekistan it was introduced on 1 January 2024 by Cabinet Resolution No. 332 of 04.08.2023, and the procedure was approved by Resolution No. 679 of 25.12.2023. Only organisations accredited by the Emergencies Ministry may conduct it. The owner signs the contract, experts inspect the site and issue a conclusion: instead of an order you get a list of violations with a remediation plan.

The same things are checked, but the audit is carried out by an accredited organisation under a contract with you. Instead of an order, you get a list of violations with a remediation plan.
For how long are you exempt from inspections?
For a year: with a positive audit conclusion and a building insurance contract, fire inspectors do not check the site.
What if the audit finds violations?
We propose solutions proportionate to the risk and agree on deadlines. Once fixed, the conclusion is issued.
Does staff need training?
Yes, training and briefings are checked during the audit. We can run the fire safety minimum together with the audit.
