Ask on Telegram
What does IOSH stand for?

Institution of Occupational Safety and Health — the British institution for occupational safety and health. Founded in 1945, it brings together safety professionals worldwide.

Is the IOSH certificate mandatory in Uzbekistan?

No, it is voluntary international training. International clients and investors often require it from contractor managers. Mandatory training under Uzbek law is taken separately.

How does IOSH Managing Safely differ from NEBOSH?

Managing Safely is a short practical course for line managers. NEBOSH programmes such as the International General Certificate go deeper and are aimed at safety professionals.

Who issues the certificate?

IOSH, after the test and the risk assessment project are passed. The course is delivered by a licensed provider — in our case HSE Company and its branch SKS.

How long is the certificate valid?

The certificate has no expiry date. IOSH recommends refreshing knowledge periodically on the Managing Safely Refresher course.
