Measuring electrical installation parameters

About the course

The qualification group shows which work a person may perform

The higher the group, the more independence and responsibility. On the course participants learn how electrical installations work, safe work rules and first aid for electric shock, then take the knowledge test for the required group. Groups are assigned in order: you cannot get group IV straight away without experience in the previous one.

Safe work
Organisational and technical measures, work order, instruction, admission.
Protective equipment
Which to use and how often to test them.
Helping the injured
Releasing from electric current and first aid.

Group III

For electricians and other staff servicing installations up to 1000 V.

Group IV

For staff of installations above 1000 V and those responsible for electrical facilities.

Ask on Telegram
Do non-electricians need a group?

Yes, if they use power tools or equipment with a risk of electric shock. Group II is usually enough for them.

Can you get group IV straight away?

No, groups are assigned in order based on experience in the previous group. Tell us your staff’s current groups and we will say which they can apply for.

How often must the group be confirmed?

Periodically, at intervals set by the rules for your category of staff. We keep records and remind you of the next test.

Can you train our staff on our premises?
